My Approach

Clarity Before Transition™

Before deciding whether to sell, grow, transition, or continue operating, you need an honest picture of where your business stands today: its value, its risk, its readiness, its opportunities, and your real options.

Clarity creates confidence.
Confidence creates better
decisions.

The Framework

The PREP Playbook™

01

Prepare

Understand where the business really stands today, financially, operationally, and in the eyes of a buyer or lender.

02

Ready

Address the risks a buyer will find anyway, before they find them.

03

Execute

Run a disciplined, confidential process from listing to close.

04

Protect

Protect the outcome, your employees, and the legacy you built, not just the price.

Proof

The Banker Who Became Your Broker

Business ownership carries responsibility. Employees depend on it. Families depend on it. Customers depend on it. The decision about what comes next affects far more than the owner alone.

My role is not to be the hero of this story. You built the business. My role is to help you understand your options, prepare thoughtfully, and execute from a position of strength.

Before becoming a broker, I spent 13+ years as a commercial banker underwriting deals from the lender's side of the table, at Bank of America, Wells Fargo and First Citizens. I have also personally built and sold two businesses of my own in the construction trades. I know what a buyer's underwriter will look for, because I used to be one.

How I Work

Five commitments that
shape every engagement

01

Clarity

You always know exactly where things stand.

02

Control

This is your decision, on your timeline.

03

Confidentiality

Protected at every stage.

04

Discipline

A real process, not guesswork.

05

Loyalty

I represent you, not the deal.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does a business broker actually do?

A business broker guides an owner through valuing, preparing, marketing, and closing the sale of a business, while protecting confidentiality and representing the owner's interests, not the buyer's.

How is a broker different from a business appraiser?

An appraiser gives you a valuation opinion. A broker runs the full process: preparation, confidential marketing, buyer vetting, negotiation, and closing, from start to finish.

Why does a banking background matter in a business sale?

Buyers and their lenders scrutinize a business the way an underwriter does. Having spent 13+ years underwriting deals from the lender's side, I know what will get flagged before a buyer ever sees it.

START THE CONVERSATION

Preparation starts
with one conversation.

You leave with a clear read on where your business stands, what a qualified buyer
would question, and what your realistic options are. Nothing moves unless you
decide it should.
